Experience designed to take full advantage of the fresh greenery and natural environment of early summer
A dual approach from both the mental and physical aspects (balance between meditation and physical activity)
Cultural experiences unique to Koyasan (such as staying in lodgings, sutra copying, participation in Buddhist services, etc.)
Combination of practical elements (vegetarian cooking, gathering medicinal herbs) and theoretical elements (Dharma talks, lectures on food regimen)
Providing knowledge and skills that can be applied to daily life.
